Final graduation project
Multi came from the idea to gather the issue of working with three main subjects that I was interested to explore: Gender, Education and Design.
How to work with those three complex subjects and transform it into a final Design course graduation project? That was my challenge.
My final graduation project, "Multi", explores the possibility of using design to promote the debate on gender equality, especially in the context of early childhood education. The research deepens the understanding of the formation of gender stereotypes and how they are reinforced by toys and educational materials.
Based on this, I designed a card game, aimed at children over 6 years old, with the objective of challenging and deconstructing these stereotypes. Through a meticulous and well-founded design process, rooted in extensive field research, literature reviews, and expert interviews, the "Multi" game proposes a playful and educational experience to stimulate critical reflection on gender issues.
